Overstock is money sitting on a pallet
A cancelled project leaves reels behind. A job closes out with 600 feet of 4/0 left on the wood. A distributor writes off obsolete stock because the tag no longer matches what anyone is ordering. That wire is still spec material — it just is not moving.
We buy that inventory. Not the transformers, not the switchgear, not the breakers, not the scrap pile — wire and cable only. Send the reel tag, the jacket legend and a photo of what is left on the reel, and you will get a straight answer about whether it is worth buying and what it takes to move it.
What we buy

How it works
No account setup, no portal, no waiting on a callback you never get. Four steps, and the first one takes about two minutes on a phone.
Send the details and photos
Use the quote form, call +1 (614) 715-3047, or email saleselectricalbuyers@gmail.com. Photos of the reel, the tag and the jacket legend do most of the work.
We review the wire
Type, metal, gauge, voltage, conductor count, footage left on the reel, condition and where it is sitting. If something is missing, we ask.
Agree on the number and the logistics
Price, pickup or delivery, loading method and payment are agreed before anything moves. No surprise deductions at the dock.
The reels leave
Forklift, dock or ground level — tell us which. We coordinate removal so it fits around your crew's schedule, not the other way around.
Get a real number, not a range
Wire is priced on what the reel actually holds: metal, gauge, insulation, voltage class, and how much is left. Two reels that look identical from ten feet away can be worth very different amounts, which is why we ask for the tag and the legend instead of guessing.
You can call +1 (614) 715-3047 and talk it through, or send everything in writing to saleselectricalbuyers@gmail.com. Either way you are dealing with someone who reads reel tags for a living.
What speeds up a quote
- Wire type and voltage class, for example THHN 600V or 15kV XLPE
- Metal: copper or aluminum
- Gauge or MCM, and conductor count
- Approximate footage left, or full versus partial reel
- Number of reels, spools, coils or cartons
- Condition: new surplus, opened, or pulled and re-reeled
- City or ZIP where the wire is stored today
- Loading: dock, forklift, or ground level

Wire and cable only
We do not buy transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, MCCs, generators, bus plugs, chillers, machinery or unrelated scrap. If your load is mixed, separate the wire and send us the wire portion.
Who we buy wire from
Different settings, the same purchase. Pick the description that fits you.
Request a quote for your wire
Two minutes on a phone. Wire type, footage and the city it is stored in are the three details that matter most — the rest helps, and photos settle it.

Wire quote request
Tell us what you have and where it is. Photos of the reel tag and jacket legend help us respond faster.
Cities we cover
These are service areas, not branches. The wire stays where it is and we come to it.
Who we buy from
Anyone holding legitimate surplus wire with a clear paper trail can sell it. Most of our volume comes from four kinds of sellers.
Electrical contractors
Closeout leftovers, re-reeled partials and reels pulled from a cancelled job. The wire is already bought and paid for, so it is pure margin sitting in the yard.
Distributors and wholesalers
Discontinued stock, damaged-tag reels, special-order cable a customer never picked up, and slow-moving sizes taking up rack space.
Manufacturers and industrial plants
Maintenance stock, spare feeders, shutdown leftovers and plant-closure inventory, including medium voltage cable.
Construction and demolition
Wire recovered from renovation and teardown work, plus new material bought for a project that changed scope.
Institutional and utility-adjacent
Hospitals, universities, data centers, water and wastewater plants and research facilities clearing out storage rooms.
Warehouses and 3PLs
Abandoned or unclaimed wire stored in a bay, where the storage cost now exceeds what the reels are worth to the occupant.
